Backbone Swamp is a redneck rock band that combines fast-paced bluegrass with heavy metal sounds of the 80's and 90's. They are based out of Nashville, TN, and hope to see y'all around town!
Doug Graves is what some may call a "good ol' boy." He lives up yonder in the Smoky Mountains and has a collection of Mountain Dew cans almost as impressive as his guitars! With a natural talent for blending chicken pickin' country with hardcore metal, Doug creates a sound that's as wild and untamed as the mountains he calls home. Whether he's jamming out on his porch or playing in a local dive bar, Doug's music is a testament to his roots—raw, rugged, and unapologetically redneck. In his off time, one might see him hunting, fishing, or adding to his ever-growing collection of instruments and Mtn Dew cans.
Kentucky Chase possesses a unique blend of Southern grit and dark charm, hailing from the backwoods of Kentucky. He is a goth redneck with a passion for the heavy and the haunting, he channels his love for the eerie into his performance. He has a music style that fuses the untamed energy of redneck rock with slight undertones of vampire music, Kentucky Chase stands out in any crowd. When he's not absolutely killing it on stage, you can find him working on his truck or exploring the eerie backroads of the Bluegrass State, always searching for inspiration in the shadows.
Ryn is a perfect mix between Southern Belle and goth. She is obsessed with metal music and lives off Red Bull (even though she knows they're not good for her voice). She can usually be found racing down the backroads in Texas in the wee hours of the morning. She's been through a lot, and you'll learn real fast that she don't put up with no nonsense. Now, if someone sticks by her side long enough, she'll be happy to call them a friend, but if y'all ain't careful, an enemy. Just depends on how ya treat her!
